We Can Create Your Ad!
- Provide your photos, descriptive copy, logo, address, web site, phone & fax numbers.
- Photos can be in the form of tranparencies, slides, print or hi-res on disk.
- Logos must be provided as black and white, camera-ready art or as hi-res on disk.
Florida Design only accepts files in the following programs for ads:
- Quarkxpress: version 9
- Adobe Software CS5 (InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator)
- All Ads must be Macintosh formatted.
- $39 printer file conversion charge for all new ads.
- If the ad isn’t provided per our specifications, there will be a $69 disk alteration charge.
- Adobe Indesign CS6 users. To down save CS6 to a

Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) is the most reliable, efficient, and effective way to distribute documents electronically. PDF is a universal file format that preserves all of the fonts, formatting, colors, and graphics of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. Acrobat lets you convert any document into an Adobe PDF file, with its original appearance preserved, and then distribute it for viewing and printing on any system. PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed and printed exactly as intended.
Ads, images and logos must be in one of the following formats:
- EPS, TIFF, JPEG or PDF (Acrobat Ver 4).
- They must be a minimum of 300 DPI and CMYK.
- $69 charge for RGB conversion.

Please submit a color proof of the ad
For our printer to use as a guideline when printing the magazine. Our printer requires SWOP standard proofs.
- If a SWOP standard proof isn’t provided we will output one for a charge of $89 per page.
- Please note that some color proofs aren’t accurate as they are made from different calibrations, inks and papers.
Images and ads can be supplied on CD, DVD, E-mail or FTP.
Please include all images, fonts and logos when submitting your ad.
