ABOVE: A series
of drawings in pastel and graphite by New York artist
Jay Kelly lines up above the sofa in the den.
A jungle-green
wall catches the eye in the guestroom, where tropical
and exotic-inspired fabrics whisk guests away to the
islands. Berenson, who used six different fabrics on
the upholstered bed, outlined the headboard in raffia
and filled the inside with leopard-print velvet.
Nail-head
trim finishes off the look. Pillows covered in a monkey-and-palm
tree motif
and bolsters wrapped in a striped green and cinnabar
fabric contrast with the ivory-quilted bed covering.
