Located on an island near Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas area, the house still had its original 1953 silhouette when architect James M. Hollingsworth began transforming it into a “mini-mansion.” The process spanned two years, and involved gutting the interior and cantilevering a second floor to create an entry area.
