In
the master bedroom sitting area, Miller
placed a lounge chair and an ottoman in a cheerful
floral fabric. The identical fabric wraps the headboard
and creates the bedskirt.
Outside, the trellis lanai affords a romantic setting
to dine alfresco and enjoy the landscaping and fountain
in the east courtyard. “Entertaining is important
to the owners, so the courtyard is the perfect place
for cocktails and dinner,” Nievera says.
It’s
also the ideal spot for McMakin and Huttig’s
canopied “cuddle chair,” from their
line of furniture appropriately named the “Palm
Beach Collection by Mimi & Brooke.” Nestling
the trees, it’s the finishing touch to the
home’s sun-kissed design.
