ABOVE: Chenille chaises in the sitting area and a brushed buffalo hide
wall in the master bedroom add textural interest to both spaces.

To establish the modern aesthetic, Brosché
placed snow-white thassos marble flooring throughout. Granite inlays and area rugs help distinguish each space, such as the blue pearl granite inlay in the dining room. Deep purple, brushed-leather tuxedo chairs add what Brosché calls “formal whimsy.”
The stairway, with its mix of marble, glass and
stainless steel, and striking art gives one the feeling of entering a gallery. Floor-to-ceiling windows play a prominent role here and in the living room.
Two stories high, the windows in the living room

provide a panoramic view of the Intracoastal
Waterway. To break up the expanse, Brosché chose furniture with shapely silhouettes, such as the curved sofa, wave-like bench and sleek barrel chairs.
Dark violet Venetian plaster wraps the walls in the powder room, where Brosché custom designed the high-gloss vanity.
Nearby, the home theater “features” cushy,
apple-green seating. “The entertaining we usually do is very personal,” say the couple, who recently hosted a wedding at the house for close friends.
