DESIGN CENTER OF THE AMERICAS (DCOTA) is the definitive resource for design professionals with over 150 showrooms offering the finest in furnishings, fabrics, lighting, flooring, kitchens and baths, and accessories. In January 2005, DCOTA will celebrate its 20th anniversary, which will culminate in a gala event to be held in November 2005. With all of the showrooms located under one roof, the design center also offers a variety of ancillary services. The new Resource Center at DCOTA provides the additional products and services necessary to complete design projects, while the Designer Lounge affords design professionals a comfortable venue for reviewing projects or meeting clients.

DCOTA also routinely hosts Designbiz, a schedule of educational presentations on current, relevant topics. In addition, its Designer On Call, or “DOC” program, allows visitors the opportunity to meet with a professional designer for a complimentary two-hour tour of DCOTA. Several on-site restaurants and an adjacent hotel round out DCOTA’s amenities.
