When Carol Cohen and her late husband, Alan, decided to make Boca Raton their primary residence, they asked designers Vance Burke
and Todd Peter to help them find the perfect
property. Having worked previously for the Cohens, the designers knew the focus of the project would be twofold — to showcase their clients’ significant collection of art and antiques and to create a comfortable home for entertaining.

The four quickly agreed upon a Mediterranean- style house on a double lot in St. Andrews Country Club. Though in need of extensive renovations, the home allowed architect Carlos A. Martin and builder Wayne Knight the flexibility to transform the existing house into a true masterpiece.
