was impressed with his ideas and businesslike approach,”
Donald says. “Since our main residence has an
Old World décor, I wanted our retreat to have
a relaxed yet sophisticated British Colonial theme with
dark woods and fine architectural details.”
Weinstein,
who collaborated with designer
Edward Balaban to bring Donald’s ideas to life,
admired his client’s refined aesthetic.
“His vision of British Colonial combined the
rugged and the romantic,” Weinstein says.
