ABOVE: An iron chandelier with lampshades and a pineapple motif suspends
from a circular soffit in the dining area. Both the armless chairs and circular table are from Marge Carson.
Throughout the home, dark wood tones work in concert with burnished-gold, sage green and crimson accents. Saturnia marble flooring in the foyer transitions into mahogany flooring in the bar, living and dining areas. To keep the view free of obstructions, Weinstein used soffits and lighting to delineate the living and dining areas.
In the living area, an area rug anchors a pair of
sofas and two rattan armchairs covered in striped silk. An ottoman placed unobtrusively near the windows provides additional seating.

At the far end of the living area, a glass wall
encloses the study, which doubles as a home office.
“The glass wall opens the space to the views,”
Weinstein says. “Donald can sit at his desk and enjoy the ocean view from virtually any direction.”
A circular soffit distinguishes the dining area,
where a table echoes its shape. Rattan-and-wood chairs upholstered in a floral-and-fruit pattern surround the table.
