When Susan
and Jim Keenan remodeled a classic, Regency-style
home on Palm Beach’s north end, they envisioned
an interior for entertaining with ease. As 15-year
residents of Palm Beach, the Keenans support many
philanthropic causes and often host formal dinner
parties.
“I believe that you give back to your community,
and I was very involved in charities during my TV
career,” says Susan, a former news anchor
who worked in several states, including California.
The couple also wanted a comfortable home for their
teenage son and his friends. “I never want
them, or anyone else, to feel the house is too formal,”
she says.

To realize
their vision, the Keenans called on interior designer
William R. Eubanks, who has worked with the couple
on previous projects. Eubanks and Mitch Brown, who
is vice president and a part of Eubanks’ design
team, transformed the home’s raw space into
the classic yet comfortable interior Susan and Jim
desired.
From the loggia to the main living areas, the ambiance
is warm and welcoming. Gracefully proportioned rooms
