Chevron-patterned oak flooring and antique Tabriz area rugs provide the foundation for two conversation areas, a music area and a bar area. In the music area, curved-back bergères and a Regency-style pedestal table gather near the owners’ piano. Just beyond, a conversation area combines a persimmon-colored sofa, a Russian Empire chair and gilt Louis XV armchairs.

Close by, another conversation area pairs a sofa with striped, Egyptian-Revival chairs. Throughout, art, accessories and collectibles from Europe and Asia enhance the interior’s worldly countenance.
