The banquette’s accent pillows take their cue from the dining room’s focal point — a painting titled “Bathers” by Sally Michel, wife of artist Milton Avery. Stacked prints on the adjacent wall are antique Italian intaglios.

Varied patterns and colors come together in the adjacent guestroom — a polka-dot ottoman, checkerboard chair, and purple-striped accent pillows. Bright coral pillows and lamps draw the eye to a curved wall of windows.

Outside, Brown and Davis carefully planned the placement of foliage and trees to frame the house and view of the Miami skyline. “Todd and I have always loved bringing houses in disrepair back to full function again, but to restore a home like this for our own enjoyment was an incredible gift,” Brown says. Davis concurs. “It’s just a fantastic house visually, and we’re blessed to have found such a treasure.”
