IN THIS ISSUE
A subtle blend of art, antiques and architecture comes together within the pages of this issue of Florida Design to reveal the fresh trend of sculptured design. Whether it be classic, contemporary or transitional, today’s trends combine vintage with verve to create unique styles that come to life.
Reflecting the stylish interpretations of designer Juan Poggi, a mélange of sculptural pieces complement the balanced mix of glass, metals, woods and textures in a mid-rise condominium on Allison Island. In shaping this space with sculptural value, Poggi allows this home to make a statement of its own.
Award-winning architect and designer Jonathan Parks shapes one Sarasota home with the linear composition and sculptural value of understated architecture. A warm interior palette sets the stage for vivid accents that pop in the paintings, sculptures and mid-century modern furnishings by design greats such as Eileen Grey and Arne Jacobsen.
Inside the interior of a Delray Beach Intracoastal home, interior designer Alison Spear employed a mixture of classicism, whimsy and glamour. True to dramatic theatrical style, this particular mise-en-scène includes a floating circular stairway, opulent vintage and modern light fixtures, tailored furnishings, and striking fabrics and wall coverings.
On view in this issue of Florida Design, picture-perfect vignettes offer a glimpse of everything from vintage antiquities and treasured collectibles to modern masterpieces along with sculpted architectural settings.
