Through a cast-stone colonnade, a Chinese camphor trunk reveals the Asian influence present in the airy living room. Cane, bamboo, teak and mahogany furnishings fill the space.
 
 

After considering extensive
renovation plans for their existing residence in Boca Raton, Fla., one family decided that it made more sense to start fresh.

Inspired by the decor of a friend’s home, the owners chose interior designer Allison Paladino and architectural design principal Richard W. Bremer Jr. to create this 7,500-square-foot, clean-lined interpretation of a Mediterranean villa.
