  Issue 20-1 Unforgettable Styles

CONTEMPORARY
Simple and clean, ‘Contemporary’ style offers a streamlined design with sleek, curved furnishings, smooth finishes and abstract accents. A subtle sophistication is seen in these homes — uncluttered, comfortable and inviting — not stark and cold. Neutral colors are accented with pops of color in artwork and accessories, and lighting is key in creating a fresh, crisp look.

This Crescent Beach home seamlessly blends the warm woods and textural fabrics of the interior design by LARRY WILSON with the organic architecture by MIKE walburn to create a seaside sanctuary that embodies a sense of natural harmony with its environment. With the emphasis on the residence’s structure, all natural materials of wood, concrete, steel and glass repeat in a simple 3-D geometry.
