  Issue 20-1 Unforgettable Styles

TRADITIONAL
Drawing from the past, ‘Traditional’ style exudes a formal sensibility reminiscent of the decorum in Europe’s royal palaces and aristocratic manors. To instill an air of gentility, designers look to 19th-century England for
inspiration to create a time-honored essence.

Select one of the following categories in the Traditional Unforgettable Styles:

Daniel Clancy

Classically elegant, yet fresh and inviting, this home reveals an updated Palm Beach version of English Regency style. Interior designer DANIEL CLANCY mixes neoclassical overtones with a neutral palette grounded by the interior signature color — a deep indigo blue that provides the perfect complement to the owners’ world-class art collection.

Capturing the perfection of a French country manor in Delray Beach, interior designers Jeff Strasser and S. marc thee reclaim the traditional elegance of the 19th and 20th centuries fashioned with nuances of France mixed with the comforts of the tropics. Inspired by classic Provence style, architect shane ames designed an exterior complete with stone archways, balustraded balconies and a portico that projects a warm Mediterranean presence — a prelude to the graceful interiors. Landscape architect krent wieland pulled it all together with hardscape and landscape designs to intregate the elements inside and out.
