FLORIDA DESIGN RANKS NO. 2 ON THE NEWSSTANDS

appell's Circulation Report has once again ranked Florida Design the No. 2 best-selling title on the newsstands among all ABC-audited, city-state-regional magazines. Not surprisingly, Florida Design is also the No. 1 best-selling Florida title on Florida newsstands. In addition, Florida Design is one of the top-selling magazines throughout the United States and in 47 countries.
The fact that Florida Design sells so well on international newsstands is a great indication of the worldwide fascination with Florida styles. Better yet, consumers are not just reading about our our styles, they are also purchasing furnishings from Florida sources.
Because of their exposure in Florida Design, our advertisers have broadened their client base well beyond the state to include customers in places such as New York, Colorado, California, Europe and South America. And judging by our newsstand sales, our advertisers are reaping the rewards of conducting business throughout the country and in other parts of the world.
As a result, Florida has become one of the major capitals in the world for fine interior design. This was evident at the recent awards ceremony held at the Miami Design District, which recognized the talented professionals throughout the state. As one of the event's sponsors, Florida Design congratulates all of the winners.

In the fast-paced world of tennis, Todd Woodbridge shows no signs of slowing down. He has won 74 doubles titles, and is only four championships away from achieving a world record in total career wins.
His demanding schedule takes him around the globe, but when it's time to unwind, the native Australian returns to Central Florida and the house that he and wife Natasha built in Windermere. To create an inviting home reflective of "their no worries, mate philosophy," the couple worked hand in hand with architect Mark P. Nasrallah and designers Angela Brooks and Lynne McKee. Warm and outgoing, the couple graciously share their home with our readers.
When it comes to legendary players in the design world, Milo Baughman ranks among the best. A Modern purist, Baughman made a name for himself in the 1950s and '60s with his characteristic style square, minimalistic and timeless.
Although he has created furnishings for numerous companies, Baughman is best known for his longstanding relationship with Thayer Coggin, Inc., which began in the early 1950s and is still going strong. In the fall, Baughman and Thayer Coggin will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their partnership with the unveiling of a new line at the High Point market.
Works by masters in the art world also color our pages, such as woodcuts and paintings on paper by Helen Frankenthaler, one of the foremost artists of the 20th century. In addition, we showcase celebrated glass artist Dan Dailey. A studio glass pioneer, Dailey has been characterized as a "brilliant raconteur" an apt description since he says "every piece tells a story."
Likewise, each of our feature stories in Florida Design presents a different angle on design, offering a variety of ideas to spark your imagination. Enjoy the issue.
