or designers, an empty shell of a home is the ultimate blank canvas just brimming with possibilities. Faced with the challenge of combining two penthouses in Mizner Grand, a Boca Raton condominium located on the Intracoastal Waterway, designer Tui Pranich and his team worked with architect Scott Dyer to transform the two spaces into a warm, sophisticated living environment.

"Working with an interior shell is most inspiring," Pranich says. "If you allow the space to speak to you, it's a liberating experience that sparks creativity."

The team reconfigured the floor plan to create "two types of living areas - one geared to personal comfort and family living, and another focused more on entertaining," he continues.
