raditional is not a word found in designer Loretta Forer's vocabulary; unconventional, eclectic and mysterious better define her signature style. In shaping the look of the office of the Personal Injury Legal Team, she chose vibrant hues and exotic furnishings that transport one to a distant land.

Attorney David Aelion, who formerly headed the law firm, had purchased an older building and retained Forer to design the interior. When they visited the building, he asked Forer what she envisioned. "I don't know why, but I told him I saw a Moroccan theme," she says.

The concept struck a chord with Aelion, whose ancestors were Moroccan. "I told Loretta I wanted a stand-out office," he says. "I wanted to set a different tone."
