iven her extensive travels abroad, knowledge of design and penchant for research, it comes as no surprise that designer Roxanne Edwards approaches every project with an "international" perspective on design. "I love traveling, seeing different cultures and meeting different types of people," she says.

So when it came to designing her home in Ballenlsles in Palm Beach Gardens, Edwards referenced the architectural and design motifs that often characterize homes in the South Seas islands.

"I've done a lot of research and reading on Asian and South Seas styles, and tried to capture a similar feeling using the same type of materials, such as rattan furniture, plantation shutters, sisal area rugs, animal prints and bright colors."
