hen residents Carol and Warren McHale decided to permanently relocate from their native Cleveland to Naples' Montenero condominium in Pelican Bay, they knew they were ready for a radical change. Instead of the Mediterranean style they had in their seasonal Florida home, they wanted something modern, uncluttered and minimal in design. They literally wanted to begin with a clean slate.

"We had a lot of time before the condominium would be ready, so we went to the Miami Design District and the Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach to educate them about the different design styles," designer Lisa Baldwin says. "They wanted something new and fresh, and were excited the moment they walked into the Holly Hunt showroom."

Carol loved the contemporary yet soft style of the furniture, and consequently selected many pieces from the showroom for the main living areas. Upholstered in textural vanilla-colored fabrics, the streamlined furnishings with dark wood frames provide a neutral foil for a striking collection of modern art.
