 hilosopher Jean Jacques Rousseau once wrote, "The places we have loved
remain with us, accompanying us wherever we go." For the owners of this Italianate estate, the quaint towns of Tuscany,
where they spend their summers, made such an indelible impression that they were moved to create their own charming
castello on a scenic lakefront site in Windermere in Central Florida.
"The wife had a vision of
a grand Italian villa, something reminiscent of those that line the Tuscan hillside with a view of Florence in the
distance," architect Mark P. Nasrallah says. "She had done copious research on architectural features and authentic
colors, so when she and her husband found this lot on the prestigious Butler Chain of Lakes, they envisioned it as the
perfect venue to make their dream a reality."
