t began with the quest for the perfect kitchen. After buying this late 1970s, ocean-view home in Fort Lauderdale, the owners made revamping the kitchen one of their top priorities. "We wanted a very clean, contemporary kitchen that had all the bells and whistles," the owners say.

Their search led them to a number of showrooms, but to no avail. Then, one day they were walking down Las Olas Boulevard and happened upon Brett Cohen's showroom. "The cabinetry inside was just awesome and exactly what we were looking for," the owners recall.

As luck would have it, Cohen was familiar with the house and offered a number of ideas that went beyond the kitchen. "Brett is very creative," the owners say, "and he was always coming up with suggestions for the home to meet our needs while bringing his own perspective to the project." continued...
