“What I love most about this apartment is that everything really works,” Alfred Jr. says. “We used new technologies and applications in hardware, electronics, lighting and fabric. The furnishings are as comfortable and practical as they are beautiful, and the technology is a marvel of efficiency and simplicity.”
The result is a high-tech yet livable residence that takes the term “smart house” to the next level.
Positioned between two corner units, the condominium takes advantage of its direct ocean view. “Facing east in the center of the building affords this unit more grand spaces with unobstructed ocean views than other units in the building,” Alfred Jr. says.
Curved walls — a recurring architectural element — reference the undulating ocean waves,

while a palette of blue and gray offers a cool interpretation of the colors of the water and sky. Book-
matched, visconte white granite flooring with irregular veining unifies the interior, whose walls are punctuated with seductive, larger-than-life paintings.
