A brighter blue dresses the Italian sofas in the living
room — navy blue-pleated Ultrasuede to be exact.
These, along with a stylized chair and ottoman and
glass-topped cocktail table, form the conversation
grouping. Nearby, dark charcoal-finished,
Jorge Lujan’s “Tango Pasional” sets
a fiery romantic tone in the dining room, where a
stainless-steel table from Brueton features a sandblasted-glass
top. A curved blue wall counterbalances the room’s
linear styling.

in order to ensure that every piece worked together

A curved-glass wall with sandblasted vertical stripes
encloses the media room, located just off the foyer.
Inside, soothing hues of gray establish a futuristic
feel — an appropriate
setting
in which to showcase one of three plasma-screen televisions.
Miriam selected the furnishings, which comprise light
blue-gray leather sofas, a gray chenille chair and
a cocktail table with a frosted bent-glass base.
