Inspired by the work of French Art Deco
designer André Leon Arbus, Wolk created an oak desk
with walnut inlays for the home office. Mike Klonaris,
the couple’s son, took the carnival

The espresso-stained oak bar, designed by Wolk, fills the expanse between the sliding-glass doors. “Normally, that wall would have been used for an entertainment center with a sofa in the middle,” Pamela explains, “but Nick likes to tend bar while we socialize.” The glass on the countertops echoes the blue-green water of the ocean.
For the dining area to the right of the bar, Wolk designed a square, white fumed-oak table with a glass inlay in the center of it.

Low-back chairs around the table keep the atmosphere casual and the ocean views unobstructed. Muted green-and-beige silk in a floral pattern dresses the chairs, making them equally appropriate for afternoon luncheons or more formal occasions.
