Spacious and uncluttered, the layout provides the perfect backdrop for the couple’s paintings, antiquities, art glass and sculptures, as well as select pieces of modern furniture. To

enhance the openness of the interior, Ruben chose a neutral palette accented by touches of brilliant blue. “When I met the wife, I was
taken by her beautiful blue eyes and felt I had to use the color in this house,” Ruben says. “She is a very understated, elegant and smart-looking person, and I wanted the house to reflect her and her lifestyle.”
