Avant-Garde Chairs And Sofas Position Themselves In The Limelight
At This Year’s International Furniture Fair In Germany

ABOVE: Inspired by man’s dream to fly like a bird, Dutch designer Pieter van Velzen created the “Bird of Paradise” chair for Leolux.


ABOVE: Germany-based ClassiCon introduced the “Mars” chair by Konstantin Grcic. The upholstered seat comes in removable fabric or leather.


ABOVE: Leolux also showed the “Hemingway” armchair. The solid-wood visible parts come in oak, Masai or any combination of warm woods.








 

 


ABOVE: The “Faya Kumba” sofa, designed by Hugo de Ruiter, provides flexibility in design with a wide range of size and style options.
