IN THIS ISSUE, we GO coast to coast with homes in the Panhandle,
Central Florida, the west coast and our own backyard. With distinct
locations and styles, these residences showcase the eclecticism of
the Sunshine State.
Nestled amid a bird sanctuary with golf course views, builders Scott
and Janet Henson’s Panama City Beach home blends seamlessly
with its surroundings. To achieve this, architects Bret Azzarelli
and Jonathon Lawrence conceived an Arts and Crafts-style exterior,
while designer Linda Holman complemented the look inside with organic
materials and an earth-toned palette.
From Arts and Crafts to Art Deco, we travel to Central Florida, where
architect Mark Nasrallah, builder Rial Jones and interior specifier
Jose J. Cabrera fulfill an Art Deco aficionado’s dream of an
authentic replication for his 3-acre Isleworth estate. Designed with
historical accuracy, this sprawling mansion exudes all the glamour
and luxurious ambiance of a five-star hotel.

Next, we head to the west coast’s Longboat Key to visit an
ultramodern condominium overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Throughout,
owner/designer Ellen Levine juxtaposes bamboo flooring and neutral
fabrics with concrete ceilings and exposed AC ducts. The result is
an artful balance of raw and refined elements.
And even closer to home, we feature a stunning, classic French-Regency
estate inspired by a couple’s love affair with Paris and their
impressive art and antique collection. Inside and out, designer Jeffrey
Hitchcock and architect Randall Stofft blend art and design to create
a true masterpiece.
Hope this issue puts a little “spring” in your step.
