Art Deco

ABOVE: Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, one of the pioneers of Art Deco style, designed the table and chairs in the dining room. Torchieres in the foyer hail from Paris.

Florida’s love affair with Art Deco dates back to the 1930s and is still going strong. Glossy, streamlined and glamorous — Art Deco hasn’t lost its luster over the years, as evidenced by this residence designed by Ted Fine and Arnold Schulman. Architectural elements evocative of this period shape the interior, while Art Deco furnishings by noted Parisian furniture designers lend authenticity to the interior design. Indeed, no one can resist the sophisticated allure of Art Deco.
