Before submitting an event,
take a moment to read our guidelines for describing events. These will help you to "spread the word" about your event
more effectively to the Florida Design audience.
The Florida Design calendar
is created and maintained for you to advertise your design event. If you want to bring more visitors or participants to
your event, you need to give them enough information to entice them quickly. Pay close attention to the following items
in your submission:
- Date: The beginning and ending
dates of the event.
- Title: It is important that
your title describes your event. Example: "New York Home Textiles Show." For lectures, meetings and other
events, your title should communicate the nature of the event, or the organization, depending upon which is easier to
understand.
- Location: Include the name of
the building or facility where the event will take place. Example: Rosemont Convention Center
- Contact: The name of the
organization or person who will provide further information.
- Phone and e-mail: Include a
contact phone (including area code, and country code if outside of the U.S.) and/or e-mail address or website where
more information can be found.
