Nature and imagination converge at Miami artist’s Alex Turco’s new gallery at 1664 Lenox Avenue in South Beach.

Set to open on October 1, the idea here is on one-of-a-kind creations by Turco that include textured wall art and sculptures, as well as collectible design pieces from the new Only One collection, which is made up of coffee and dining tables unlike most out there. In all his works, Turco favors materials such as salt, volcanic stone, sea sponges, charred wood, and calcified elements, and then uses signature epoxy resin techniques to bring them to life.

“Each piece holds the memory of a place,” says Turco, whose pieces have been commissioned for Christian Dior and Louis Vuitton boutiques. “This collection is about transforming nature into art while preserving its essence. These works are not inspired by nature; rather they are nature transformed.”
