Roman designer Achille Salvagni walks the thin line of taste with enviable dexterity. A lover of classicism, the collectible design maestro, who opened an atelier location in Palm Beach about a year ago, manages to bridge ancient craftsmanship with modern imagination through an oeuvre that touches on furniture, lighting, and objets d’art. Now, a new volume by Assouline simply titled Achille aims to situate the designer within a broader cultural continuum as it analyzes the influences that shape his work.
Illustrated with imagery of Salvagni’s works, studios, and interiors in Rome, London, New York, and Palm Beach, the book is a testament to originality and the power of the individual.
