In the condo’s dining area, chairs designed by Leon Rosen for Pace Furniture in the 1970s introduce a refined sense of heritage with their arched backs and Lucite arms, which quietly echo a Roman arch motif. The orange triangular painting on the exposed concrete wall was created by designer Paul Sherrill’s business partner, José Solis Betancourt, who gifted it to him as a housewarming present. “When I saw it in his studio, I knew it was the one piece that would add an unexpected touch to the room,” says Sherrill.

The design approach in the living room was to create a contemporary yet inviting space layered with softness and a touch of romanticism. The curved forms were intentional to soften the architecture and introduce a sense of fluidity and elegance. “The artwork by Eduardo Rezende immediately resonated with us,” says designer Jessica Jaegger, who helped the homeowners curate the collection in the residence. “It has a quiet, melancholic quality that brings a sense of introspection and calm and enriches the overall ambiance.”
