Designer Carin Elle Mead has multiple reasons to celebrate this season. In September, the tastemaker opened the doors to House of C. Elle, a space in downtown Stuart that brings her business interests under one roof. At the new location (at 200 SW Atlanta Avenue), she can meet with clients and discuss residential renovations as part of C. Elle Design Studio as well as offer space to the new C. Elle Home, a showroom that focuses on furnishings, lighting, rugs, textiles, and accessories from South + English, Lily Koo, Chelsea House, Wildwood, Woodbridge, Abigails, Peacock, and Hammerton Lighting, brands she trusts and relies on for her interior design commissions throughout Florida.

“Everything was chosen with a great deal of intention,” says Mead. “If I wouldn’t buy it for my home, it wouldn’t be here. The inventory reflects how I design and live.”

Also available will be Mead’s collections of rugs, which include indoor and outdoor selections in natural and performance fibers, as well as new wool options that will be released mid-fall. Soon to come: her partnership collection with Hammerton Lighting, about which she will not reveal much for now.

“I hope this place evolves into a true design destination for the Treasure Coast and an important resource for design professionals,” says Mead. “I want this to be a hub for creativity, collaboration, celebration, and community.”
